  One of the characteristics of our Harpetsu Clinic's traditional Kampo medicine treatment is the ability to treat diseases caused by immune deficiencies or abnormalities, such as atopic dermatitis, allergies, encephalitis, erythematosus, rheumatism, which are difficult to treat in Western medicine, by adjusting the constitution and immunity.

  
  

  The complex workings of the immune system still have many aspects that modern medicine has not yet fully understood. Therefore, diseases caused by immune abnormalities are often labeled as incurable diseases, even in advanced hospitals, and as a result, symptomatic treatments such as steroids and immunosuppressants continue indefinitely. • Treatment Process

  The traditional Kampo medicine we use at our clinic is not in the form of supplements but pharmaceuticals. Therefore, when it comes to treatment, we first assess your pet's constitution through in-person consultations and interviews. Based on this assessment, we prescribe traditional Kampo medicine that suits their current constitution.

  
  

  We don't simply prescribe and leave it at that. We continuously adjust the dosage and type of traditional Kampo medicine based on the body's response and symptoms, which may become apparent within as little as 1 to 2 weeks. If you are unsure about undergoing traditional Kampo medicine treatment, it's advisable to try it for 2 to 4 weeks and evaluate the effects before deciding whether to continue.
